“The Mini”

Not a lot of time or space?   This is just the right size for you.   A very popular Health Check event that includes relaxing massage, blood pressure screenings and ergonomic posture checks.  After all that, the Louisville Health Check Staff will suggest some posture exercises to help reduce fatigue and pain right where you work.

Time: 10 minutes per person. ***This is a sponsored service, FREE to your company and employees. Minimum of 4 employees.

The Great  Magnificent 7 (Our most popular selection)

Seven station health fair that fits well into a lunch hour event.  It includes blood pressure check, carpal tunnel screening, ergonomic posture check, free chair massage, body fat analysis, cholesterol screening, and blood glucose screenings.

This one takes 15-20 minutes per person.***

The Full Enchilada

This health fair fulfills the needs of  large organizations.  Our team is made up of 9-12 health providers.  Everything from the magnificent 7 plus a whole lot more.   It takes 20 to 45 minutes per person. Definitely worth the time!

Did You Know?

The CDC reports show obesity rates rose another 3% from 2002 to 2006. High blood pressure rates are up from 25.8% in 1994 to 31.2% in 2006. There is hope! We are making progress! Ten years of data from 1997 to 2007 Americans having fewer physical limitations today than 10 years ago. Better ergonomics, improved work flow and employee training programs are credited with this improvement. It takes team work. Improvements like this require employers providing quality programs, employees attending and learning material, and health care professionals working together for a single goal, Better Health. Did You Know?

The Center for Disease Control reports increases in Obesity and High Blood Pressure between 1994 and 2006. Obesity rates skyrocketed from 22.7% to 33.2%, High blood pressure from 25.8% to 31.2%.

There is hope!

The same report shows a decrease in physical disabilities such as walking, climbing, standing, and stooping. The report shows that 35.6% of people had some disability in 1997 and only 30.8% in 2007. We are making progress.

This progress is due in large part to better ergonomics and work place training programs. These programs require teamwork between employers, employees and health professionals.
